TOPR received a special behind-the-scenes tour of the Lynn Cancer Institute (LCI). A guided visit through the state-of-the-art facility highlighted the multidisciplinary approach to treatment at LCI. Services are provided by specialists in genetics, surgery, oncology, counseling, and imaging. Also, TOPR got a firsthand look at the CyberKnife, the latest in non-invasive cancer treatment. Then, we heard from Dr. Jane Skelton who emphasized the importance of healthy living, screening, prevention, and treatment.
