Project Outreach was founded in 2015 by AnaMichele and Lauren Morejon, two then-sophomores, as a club at Boca Raton Community High School.  The twin sisters combined their passion for the performing arts with their desire to help the local community and medical research causes. In their first year, Project Outreach presented a two-hour show featuring local professionals and exceptionally talented teens.  The show’s theme, I Rise, was evident through dance and song, performed with an uplifting message.  Project Outreach donated the proceeds from the show, over $8,000, to the Lynn Cancer Institute at Boca Raton Regional Hospital (BRRH).

When Project Outreach donated its check, BRRH officials mentioned a similar organization in Boca Raton with a parallel mission: Teens of Pink Ribbon®.  In the summer of 2016, Project Outreach joined forces with Teens of Pink Ribbon®.  The synergy between the two groups has expanded their reach and the ability to spread their message even further.  Now, Project Outreach is a part of Teens of Pink Ribbon®, and teens of various high schools are working together to further support the community.
