On Sunday, February 26th, 2017, Teens of Pink Ribbon hosted our first Yoga in the Park event at the Amphitheater at Delray Marketplace. A free all-level yoga class was taught by Bea Gruman, a fabulous instructor from the South Florida area, and was assisted by a few of her yogi friends. Through donations, raffles and a shopping event at Charming Charlie, Teens of Pink Ribbon raised over $800 to benefit Lynn Cancer Institute at the Boca Raton Regional Hospital. With over 40 participants, the class flowed through various poses and concluded with a meditation under the clear blue sky. We are grateful to our OM-azing friends and sponsors who supported our efforts to make Yoga in the Park a success.
